Where it began.....

1995, that was the year my dad bought me my first camera.

It was a Canon Sure Shot, opening my world to the infinite realm of capturing emotion, changing my life forever.
Looking back 21 years, it was a magnificent moment, an exact moment in the tapestry of my life where destiny was revealed. Of course I did not know it then, I used my prized possession to shoot anything that moved. My friends were usually the subjects of my continuous trigger happy state. Goofy faces, blury objects and generally photographs that were easily discarded was at the order of the day. Running to the photo shop to get the film developed and costing my dad a fortune in film purchases.
It began there, the seed was planted, and it would not go away.
For me, taking a photograph is not preserving a moment, or serving as a means to look back at your life with a few fond memories. A photograph is capturing emotion, capturing someones soul and complete being at that exact moment.

The photo on the left is of my son when he was born. All my emotions, fears, doubts, joy, exhiliration, captured in one instant. All my hopes and dreams for this young soul that has joined our side of life, everything.
These images explains us, they dive into our hearts and revive what we live for.
It is not just a photograph, it is life itself.
